What You Should Know When You Go Camping

It was not that long ago that camping was the vacation of choice among families. Packing up the tent, the cooking utensils and the car full of food and heading off to a natural spot to enjoy lots of fresh air, non-electronic games and sometimes a spot of fishing. If this is not a treat you have yet enjoyed, read on for some great ideas for your next camping trip.

You don't have to be a boy scout to be prepared, if you plan to go camping. One of the first rules is to be sure to tell somebody where you will be. If there isn't an exact location to give, then give a general idea of major roads nearby or even GPS coordinates if you know them and give a timeframe of when you plan to return.   Always be prepared with an emergency survival kit.Do plenty of research on your camping site and ensure that it offers everything that your group will need. Consider the individual needs of each camper to ensure that everyone is taken care of. This alleviates the need to make supply runs, or worst case, have to end the trip too soon.

Allow everyone who is going on the trip to have a say about the campsite. One of the things you will want to discuss is which state you would like to visit. Try to keep a small list, as there is such an abundance of spots to choose from, it can be hard to pick one. Try to select a short-list and then put it to a family vote.

Purchase a few camping pillows to take with you. Standard bed pillows tend to get sticky in humid weather. Mildew can grow in it when they absorb the moisture from the air. Camping pillows are made with a protective, moisture-proof coating to prevent these issues.

One thing that many people forget to pack on a camping trip, and which quickly turns the trip into a nightmare is bug spray. This simple repellent will save you both annoyance and can protect your health as many types of bugs can do a great deal of damage to you quickly.

If you are new to camping and you are going without a more practiced friend, you should consider staying in a campground rather than camping in the wilderness. This will help you to learn the basics of camping while still having basic infrastructure and friendly people around you in case of emergency.

When preparing for a camping trip, people often fail to bring enough clothes. Remember that there will be no washing facilities, and you also need to think about how the weather can call for certain specific attire as well at times. You always want to be prepared, so pack accordingly.

So there you have it. A camping trip can be as simple or as complicated as you want it to be. Once you have purchased or borrowed the minimum camping basics, the country is your oyster and you are only limited by the amount of time you have and how far you can travel. Enjoy!

A little about me:  I am a grandmother and raised 3 children as a single mother.  That was hard.  Their father was not very involved.  I have 3 wonderful children - I am very proud.  I also have 2 wonderful grandsons who I treasure and enjoy and a granddaughter on the way.  What a gift for me.  And this all makes me very grateful for all of them, and especially because I am so proud of what good people they all are.  I am also very grateful for who I am, and that I can be proud of my integrity and my mind.  That I have a great deal of ability to build and create my businesses.  Here's one of my tools.
I am trained as a counselor and see many people that make a lot of poor choices that mess up their lives, and this is a reason for me to be grateful for my own choices and my life.  I don't have a lot of regrets when I look back.  But I don't mean I always played it safe, because I definitely did not.  But I don't feel that I didn't learn from all these risks.
I believe making a living on the internet is risky.  Remember the statistic out that that says 97% fail.  I have reached the place where I know it is about success for me, but it takes attitude, consistency, and persistence.  There are many failures before the successes.  Through all of my learning, I have learned what works and what doesn't, who to trust, and all of the nonsense.  I have also wasted money on the junk and tried the junk.  My mailbox files have a number of them.  And then it finally dawned on me when I found my last 2 programs that they were right, and it is about building myself, and going from there.  Random sales and marketing doesn't work.  When the student is ready, the teacher will come!!

List Building is my most important activity at this point.  It finally dawned on me that I must build relationships and lists of customers to have a successful business.  I don't know why it took me so long.  I joined MLSP as I was amazed at the help they give for a small price but I also feel I will be pushed to stay FOCUSED.  I have to stay FOCUSED as there are many distractions online.Yikes.  So easy to keep going crazy - something new and better.  I recently returned products I have purchased recently and will work in this direction.  I can always find affiliate products to sell when i have the list.
So stick with me - hopefully you will get it before I did.  I don't know why I was so stubborn, but now I know!!

Make Some Money Today!

I bet you've heard this before, but success is a decision. Do you think you can make extra money online? Decide that you want a better life, or a different life. Decide to make money, set a goal, and go for it. But then you must stay focused, and believe it, feel it.
You can change your lifestyle - you need new tools and a decision.  Remember, you can't do it the same way you've always done it, and expect different results.
So decide to change your financial future, make a plan, get some tools, and stay focused on your goals.  Don't get distracted by all these other things, offers, promises.  This is where focus comes in to play.
You make this plan a way of life, while following your gut.  Because it is foolish to be stubborn when something doesn't work -give yourself permission to make a mistake.
Remember, you can make money in new ways.  My first goal was to add to my income, then move onto adding even more extra income.  I have not leaped into full-time income, only because of benefits and I need people around for my own personality. I like working with people.
So, go for it, you can do it.

Be Empowered In 2012!

I've always been a spiritual seeker - looking for a better self.  Not for nirvana, or "the" answer, but to be happier, to be the best self I can be, and continue on my journey vs. getting stuck in daily living, without any goals or choices.  I continue working on that as it is easy to get diverted.  I believe part of my journey is to abundance, that I don't need a lifetime of just enough.  That those who have financial freedom have more options than those who don't.  Not that I want a lot of material items.  I am satisfied with where I'm at with that.  I just want to be able to have more free time, travel, and help more people achieve financial ease, especially in this time of difficulty.  I think we all need to work together to help each other.  I found a program which believes the same thing - it is the Empower Network.  Go and find out about it.  You will surely be impressed. Join and you can help yourself and others. Be sure to take charge of your own life rather than letting others run your life.  What do you want? Where do you want to end up.  I just heard a quote from the head of Amazon saying: If I don't do this, will I regret it when I'm 80." Pick a direction and move in it - you can always change direction if your gut says something isn't right.  Take some risks and don't let the fear win.  One of my favorite books of all time was "Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway!" What Is Your Automatic Profit Machine and Cause?

Hi, self-improvement experts!! I am continuing changing and growing as always.  I had a "major" birthday this year and it helped even more with my perspective in that it's an indicator that life is too short, so I'd better keep going.  I don't really have any regrets but I do have more I'd like to do.  One of my personal goals - not for the purpose of materialism, but for the purpose of enjoying life and helping others - was abundance.  That is to the point of having financial freedom.  I don't need billions and not to buy cadillacs or boats, but to travel, spend time with family, travel to other countries to help, help my own children have more ease in life, as they all had to go down the road of the single mother with me, and that is not an abundant road.  I think it is one of the lessons I'm supposed to learn this lifetime - to accept and go after that abundance.Also, in this era of so many Americans out of work and having their salaries, benefits, and pensions reduced, perhaps I can help.  But again, I don't need things. I'm happy the way I am.  And I'm lucky now that I have an education, a good job with benefits, etc.  I've been enjoying sirius radio in my car and have been listening to many of the channels, including oprah because she has snippets from her shows of self-improvement and spiritual leaders. I really enjoy them because they are a reminder to me about what life is about.  I love it.  I've always been that seeker, still seeking.  That's all for now.
